Orkney 2020 County Show Cancelled

‘After consultation with the committee, directors and office bearers, the Orkney Agricultural Society has decided to cancel the 2020 County Show originally planned for the 8th August. Many factors contributed to this decision, not least the uncertainty of the national COVID 19 guidance by summer 2020. Other considerations included the prospect of several thousand people in one location, the support required by the local authority, emergency services and local volunteer organisations.
